Sierra de Guara

Sierra de Guara has been a summer playground for over decade now. What was once thought to be one of those getaway weekend has become an annual outdoor event to celebrate summer and catch up with things in life. Choosing Rodellar in Sierra de Guara has been the right location to access the hidden beauty of this national park.

Not only was the first experience led to wanting more but camaraderie among us brought positive energy and I remember the time when we tried our first canyoning. First we took Barrasil, a wet canyoning and wearing a wet suit is a must. Then, we tried the dry one

The Sierra de Guara is a natural park located in the province of Huesca, the autonomo (region) of Aragon. It is nestled in the Pre-Pyrenees and usually taken for granted as outdoor people head the high Pyrenees such as Monte Perdido, Maladeta, and the highest peak Ante.

Being there almost every in a decade, there is always something new. Climate change has changed the landscape. I noticed the difference when we first came here, the water was icy cold and now, it doesn’t feel that way anymore. That’s why I thought, time is changing a lot of things.
