A Bike Friendly Country

A bike lover's country and a paradise for any cyclist at any level. Here is a decorated roundabout where the Tour de France passed through this summer. A traditional display of support around the countryside and also goes to the French attitude toward bikers touring the countryside. I stopped at this roundabout, and a motorcyclist asked where I was heading. I told them I was on my way to Beaune. He gave me a direction even though I didn’t need it, but I did get carried heading toward Chagny by following bikers and the beauty of the countryside. Instead of heading to Beaune, I headed in the direction of Chalon-sur-Saône. After an hour of biking, I noticed that I was going the wrong way, so I went back to Chagny to correct my course.
