Chécy

When approaching Chécy, I was captivated by its beauty. The pathway along the canal and the lined of trees. A couple strolling and a young man jogging. I was here late in the afternoon and just on time to pitch a camp nearby. I could have spent a day here and just walk around and enjoy the countryside and Orléans is just half an hour away by bike and a couple of hours away on foot. Someday I’ll come back here again and just do like this and get to know better this place. I imagined myself sitting under those trees and dream or just have a picnic. Time will come when I get a chance to do just this.

Chécy is a charming commune in the Loiret department in north-central France, near the city of Orléans and along the Loire River.
