Joining In

Joining in another activity that inspires me. With the leadership of Pam at Roberti Community and her volunteers (Trudi and two Italian teenagers, Camilla and Cecilia), we ventured together to another non-profit institution in downtown Waukegan to help out pack paper bags for food distribution.

We rolled up our sleeves and got things going. First, we organized the process. The two Italian volunteers worked together while I worked with Pam and Trudy. In no time, we got ourselves on a roll and were able to put together bags and bags of goodies for the needy. We ended up 55 full bags for the next distribution.

Roberti Community seems to be working well in collaborating with other non-profit organizations and at the same time, they do their share of giving lunch to the needy in the neighborhood and hand out boxes of goodies.
