Almost all the way Eurovelo 6 is flat and scenic. Then you run into rolling hills when get into the wine region like Sancerre, which is a climb up to reach the town. I could have skipped this part, because a couple of cyclists passed me by, but Sancere is an important wine region — A must-visit. I was tempted to continue on just like the other couple who had passed me. I followed the sign and didn’t know what to expect. It was quite a steep climb. I had no choice but to pedal my way up. I got there at the peak of lunchtime. I found a seat and it took me sometime to be able to get an order. Two women, because they couldn’t wait any longer. I ordered a glass of wine as a start — rose, white, and then red.
