A Sunny Day

Getting up in the morning and seeing Sylvia in the kitchen. I moved in to prep up our breakfast. We had a wonderful breakfast with my host and her sister and talked the Ming and Chen dynasty and up to the modern times — the one child policy in China. While having breakfast, we saw a young deer out of the window. I thought of a moment of going out right away, but we were having a good conversation about history. The deer also laid down in a hidden spot. I knew he/she was there observing while listening to Sylvia’s talk about Chinese history. After breakfast, I washed the dishes and got myself ready and headed out to our beautiful pond.
