I didn’t have any idea where Maro at when I heard it the fist time. Maro is nestled adjacent to Nerja. I passed by Nerja decades ago and stayed there for a night. I stayed on a farm of Maro for a month in August and became to be my summer destination and the location of the farm where I stayed for the month of August. is nestled adjacent to Nerja and since it is so close to it and both places depend from each other. Actually, the cave, proved to be a profoundly transformative experience that has left an indelible mark on my life. The sanctuary of solitude provided ample time for self-reflection, coupled with the rewarding opportunity to contribute in various capacities around the farm. Interactions with both the warm-hearted locals and the transient guests enriched my journey, leaving me with cherished memories.

The allure of the farm lies not only in its tranquil surroundings but also in the abundance of tropical delights it offers, including succulent passion fruits, creamy avocados, luscious papayas, plump figs, and fragrant mangoes. Perched on the edge of a cliff, the farm affords breathtaking vistas of the boundless ocean, a sight that invigorates the soul each morning.

The rhythm of life at Alfargata Farm fostered a holistic sense of well-being. Waking up to the gentle embrace of dawn, I would often embark on barefoot strolls, connecting intimately with the earth beneath my feet. The proximity of the beach, just a stone's throw away, offered moments of serenity and blissful reprieve.

Fortunate to partake in such a harmonious existence, each day bestowed upon me a renewed appreciation for the simple yet profound joys of life. My time at Alfargata Farm encapsulated a tapestry of beauty, tranquility, and gratitude—a fleeting moment suspended in time, forever etched in my heart.
