Back to Sevilla

I haven’t gotten here for ages. Coming from Maro, I took the bus to Malaga, and then to Sevilla. Here, it reminded me of my first time attending a flamenco show and then, bull fighting which came to be the first and the last.

Sevilla (Seville) is the capital of Andalusia and one of the most vibrant cities in Spain, known for its deep-rooted history, stunning architecture, and lively culture. It's famous for flamenco, tapas, and its mix of Moorish and Gothic influences.

The main river of Andalusia is the Guadalquivir River. It flows through Seville and is one of Spain's longest rivers, stretching about 657 km (408 miles) from the Sierra de Cazorla in Jaén to the Atlantic Ocean near Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Historically, it was a crucial waterway for trade and exploration, as Seville was an important port during Spain's Age of Discovery. The river also passes through Córdoba and is known for its fertile valley, which supports Andalusia’s rich agriculture.

Its lively atmosphere comes alive with the sound of flamenco music echoing through the streets. As you step into the bars and restaurants, the vibrant energy is contagious, drawing you in and making you want to linger, savoring every moment.
