Pico Veleta

My stay in Maro was short at this time. Cristian and I didn’t know what to do together. We went to Pico del Cielo the last time. We needed something challenging. One day, Cristian decided to try Pico Veleta and wanted to start early in the morning. Well, I got no problem with that. We drove together to Sierra Nevada and started off at 4:00 AM.

This is a gradual climb to the peak. It’s a moderate climb, but once we were close to the peak, cold wind started to pick up that we had to look for a cover. The cold wind sapped our energy and enthusiasm.
