From campsite to a classy hotel. It was a luxury break from all the campsites and hostels. A change for a few days.

Riding through this vast vineyards, I was closing in Beaune. First, I stopped Chassagne Montrachet.

At times, you get carried away with the canals, but it can sometimes to different direction. I lost 1 hour because I was heading to Lyon instead to Beaune. There were many cyclists along this road that you get carried away. One thing about cycling is that you got to figure out how to get back after being carried away.

This rolling hills region full of vineyards is a paradise for cyclists and lovers of food and wine.

Upon entering this canal, the mind starts to dream.

The freedom to keep on going no matter what happens. Appreciating the present moment and not get ahead of yourself.

Biking is a great way to explore this area. It is plain beautiful to be out there and seeing different layers of Loire river.

I wish I could have spent more time here, but it was time to move on. Time given in the name to stroll around was good enough. There wasn’t a strong to message to stay longer.

What a joy to just follow Loire river and admire its beauty. I feel lucky to still get to enjoy all this. This is just the beginning of an adventure.

There is always a place to celebrate something. Crossing the bridge with the wind blowing, then after that, a downpour. I found the best spot to regroup.
